Freestyle Lesson Fees And Associated Policies

Lesson fee does not include cost of ice time. 

Skaters are also required to follow all Ice Den policies.  

$50 per half hour is my fee for on-ice and off-ice lessons, private or semi-private.

Payments are due at the time of the lesson unless a different payment plan has been agreed upon.  I accept cash, check, Venmo, and Zelle. 

You may cancel a lesson with notice of 24 hours without being charged for the missed lesson. However, if you do not give me at least this much notice, you will still be charged for the lesson regardless of the reason for the cancellation.

• Athletic shoes should be worn to the ice rink so the skater can do an off-ice warm-up before skating
• Pants should fit properly and go all the way down to the boot (no capri-style pants or shorts)
• Pants and leg warmers should not be baggy or fall to the floor 
• Pants and tops must be of stretchy/athletic-type material
• Absolutely no jeans
• No bare legs showing, no matter what!
• If wearing a dress or skirt, you must be wearing tights underneath
• Dresses and skirts must be skating-style (panties attached and skating-style skirt)
• All clothing must be age-appropriate and easy to move in
• Hair must be pulled back out of face (headband is okay for short hair; long hair requires ponytail, bun, etc.)
• No bobby pins allowed on the ice

Skaters must adhere to dress code.  Inappropriate attire will result in being asked to leave the ice; any applicable lesson fees still apply.

For local competitions, my fee is $50 per event.  

For competition practice ice, my regular hourly fee is split between the number of skaters I work with on the session.

For exhibitions, my fee is $50 per routine. 

For test sessions, my fee is $50 per test. Special discounts may apply for Compulsory Dance tests taken with the same warm-up time, and for Pre-Pre FS tests. 

For out-of-town events, the total cost of any fees associated with the competition (such as travel, hotel fees, parking fees, etc.) will be divided between all of my students who participated in the event.
